The creation of this idea preceded both of those things. Proving that I am a kind of latter-day Nostradamus.
Then I'd guess that EA's a sort of modern version of "Les Propheties"...in that case, I guess we can say that we're the world's most educated web comic fans!
It seems recent events have may have influenced the apple man. Go Canucks...minus the little puck men, or boys, as the case may be. Hope there's no girls in there. Ouch!
